This module I have created for the Disqus commenting platform is currently working for TomatoCart v1.1.5 to v1.1.7, because there have been so many releases of the different versions, I have not been able to test on each version but it should have no problem running on them all provided the database structure is the same for all and the methods for creating the queries have stayed the same from one version to the other!
If you are running on a version of TomatoCart that refuses to accommodate this module, then please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will try my best to adapt it for your version, but I would suggest upgrading your version of TomatoCart to the current stable version of TomatoCart v1.1.7 at the time of writing (27 June 2012).
For full Disqus module installation and setup procedures please refer to the following post: http://www.tomatocart.com/community/7-install-a-config/19452-disqus-commenting-system--revised--for-tomatocart-v115-v117.html
Note: I have attempted to run disqus on Windows Internet Explorer 7 and lower without success, and after googling around, it does seem to be a compatibility issue with older versions of Windows Internet Explorer and the script used by Disqus (not the Disqus module for TomatoCart). If you prefer to rather use the older version of diqus you can always downgrade from Disqus 2012 by deselecting it once you have created a disqus account as per the instructions given in the link above.
The upgrade guide is a step-by-step tutorial to help users to upgrade TomatoCart v1.1.7 to v1.1.8. If you have not yet updated to v1.1.7, please review its upgrade guide before applying these changes. [...]
