Hello,

I have a few questions regarding my shop.

- Is it possible to add extra data to a registered customer? (like home page, twitter account, ...). What's the best approach to develop this (without getting conflicts with future tomatocart updates) ?
- Is it possible to add an trigger of code to be executed after a customer created an account ?

I'm experienced in PHP and Mysql, so this thread can be technical

I'm maybe able to create some extensions for this functionality ? It's not clear to me how you can create modules for this functionality without touching the core files (I don't want to touch them because I wan't get stuck with future updates)

If you want to integrate any functionality for the customer you have to "touch" the core code. However you may construct some add-on or module that works independently with it*s own database tables and uses only customers_id from toc tables.

Now on some position where customers data are displayed, you only need to include some link to this add-on or module, like: "More about customer" or whatever.

You may set this add-on or module to display in the middle content section as content module or you may create new TC page and let it display on this page.

When you upgrade TC, you should only recreate your link in the file it is created in, if the file is modified (replaced).
